  Scholarship Fund Drive

Educating Youth in Beauty, Goodness, and Truth.

Dear Friends:

We urgently need your help. This year we gave about $30,000 in scholarships to families who needed assistance with tuition. We want to continue to offer these same scholarships, but we cannot do it without generous John Bosco Marydonations from people like you.

St. John Bosco High School is a private, non-profit school providing youth with the confidence, knowledge, and faith to succeed in higher education and beyond. By making a tax-deductible donation to St. John Bosco High School, you are sharing in the cause of forming students into educated, moral citizens.

Our school pledges to be faithful to Pope Francis, the Magisterium and our local ordinary, Archbishop Alexander Sample. At our school every student learns how to defend and share the faith.

Why do parents choose St. John Bosco High School? Kevin Brophy, a parent of two current students explains: “We looked into St. John Bosco High School after hearing from other families how wonderful the school was.  We decided to send our children there because the education has an emphasis on the whole person, emphasizing both the Catholic faith as Eve Owen Grad 1well the classical tradition.”

Your generosity allows us to provide scholarships to families who can’t afford a Catholic education.

Our school offers:

  •  Supportive community where students make wholesome friendships
  • Catholic classical curriculum prepares students for college or university studies
  • Dedicated teachers integrate the Catholic faith in their classrooms
  • Commitment to Christian values develops morality, integrity and a sense of service
  • Formation in skills to be future leaders

Pope Francis recently spoke to young people. He explained: “I wanted to tell you: Have courage. Go forward. Make noise. Go against this civilization that is doing so much harm. Got that? Go against the tide and that means making noise. Go ahead, but with the values of beauty, goodness and truth.”

We are 100% pro-life. We seek to be on the cutting edge of the new evangelization. Students must be prepared to defend their faith in a secular world where God is utterly excluded from public schooling. Saint John Bosco taught thBishop with Patrickat “Knowledge without morals is the soul’s ruination.”

Saint John Bosco’s method of teaching youth is completely relevant today. He taught that education should be based on faith, reason and kindness. He explained that the education of youth is of great importance. He stated: “Do you want to do a good deed? Teach the young! Do you want to perform a holy act? Teach the young! Do you want to do a holy thing? Teach the young! Truly, now and for the future, among holy things, this is the holiest.”

Pope Benedict XVI spoke about the need to support Catholic education. “Education is integral to the mission of the Church to proclaim the Good News… It also provides a highly commendable opportunity for the entire Catholic community to contribute generously to the financial needs of our institutions… No child should be denied his or her right to an education in faith, which in turn nurtures the soul of a nation.”Top of Form
